Its trunk is very useful to it. It raises. its trunk and trumpets. It drinks water with the help of its trunk. It can pick up even a very small thing like a pin with its trunk. It can carry heavy loads. The elephants live in groups or herds in the forest. They can be tamed for work. They are trained and used in a circus. It is a very intelligent and kind animal. It is very useful to man. Formerly they were used is wars.
