My Pet Bird- THE PARROT

            MY PET BIRD-THE PARROT 

                My pet bird is a parrot. It is a small bird. Its colour is green. It has a curved red beak. This beak is very hard and sharp. The parrot can break hard nuts with its beak. Some parrots have a black strip on their throats. I keep my parrot in a cage in my house. It likes to eat green chillies, guavas and other fruits. We teach it to whistle and talk. It makes us very happy. It is a very beautiful bird. I like it very much. When guests come to us it says Namaste' in its shrill voice.
